You continue meeting household and family responsibilities, while at the same time running your business and trying to maintain personal interests. As demands increase to fulfill these roles, you often feel a sense of losing control and helplessness, making them prone to stress and burnout. Women are more likely to arrive to work, stressed before their business demands begin.

The cost to your personal health, well-being, performance and productivity can be enormous, leading to serious damage to your long term health.

But - not all stress is bad. For many women, stress can be a positive force in their lives, enabling them to do their best.

In fact, the wisdom lies in knowing how to operate on your personal optimum stress level, how to take the knowledge and translate it into a set of tools to help overcome barriers stress can create on your way to live the life you desire?

Great post. Right now, we The Hot Mommas Project, are working to produce case studies to help young women and girls interested in business that work-life-balance does exist. We encourage everyone to come online, be a role model, and write their (1-2 page, guided) case study. The cases will be available for anyone online for no charge. Sign on at www.hotmommasproject.org to read other cases and to write your own.
