Some of the commonly prescribed supplements are vitamin B complex especially inositol, calcium, magnesium, pantothenic acid, essential fatty acids, L-tryptophan and Gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA).

These supplements are known to have different mechanisms of helping you body and hence should be taken in consultation with your physician. Some popular herbs like Kava and Valerian are gaining credibility. The other herbs that are normally prescribed are chamomile, hops, lemon balm, passion flower, skullcap and suma.

If anxiety disorder is not treated in time, it can lead to other problems like low self-esteem, depression, and even alcoholism. It can also negatively impact your work and your personal relationships.
