Weight loss and diets are strong stressors, which add to daily stress picture of many women.

Your body is equipped with several systems to help it detox naturally. Though, today’ s stressful lifestyles and unhealthy eating habits often overburden your natural system.
Your body just cannot keep up with the amount of toxic matter flowing through it. Conventional food such as sugar, sweeteners, meat, dairy, and baked goods have something in common - they all are toxic foods that will to keep you fat, lethargic, and most importantly, unhappy as long as you keep eating them. Not to mention toxic chemical substances.
Toxicity and Acidosis are Serious Problems.
Toxic waste begins to accumulate and the balance of your body is disrupted. The signs of imbalance are visible - you end up being overweight, having little energy, poor digestion and a poor immune system to name just few. If you never cleanse your body and keep eating a poor diet, over the years your body reaches what is know as its “toxic load.”

There is more to weight loss than just eating correctly. Auto-intoxication because of an unhealthy colon can really drag you down and cause you to gain weight. Great post!
I have heard about people using natural detox methods instead of dieting where some are claiming that simply keeping the body cleansed boosts metabolism. There were some reports that detoxing the liver helps break down fat in the body and there were such supplements as cheap as dandelion extract mentioned to help as well as other more expensive tonics like Acai berry juice and green tea. I am wondering if anyone has ever tried the detox methods instead of dieting and had any success?
